I spend a lot of my time in the water sometimes on the surface sometimes drifting through kelp below.

Above Water
Above Water is where Dawn Days began for me. Early mornings on the surface of the ocean. Cold water, soft light and a feeling that the world had finally gone quiet enough for me to breathe again. During lockdown I started swimming before sunrise. It was a place to be with my thoughts. Held by the water. Half awake. Immersed in nature. Camera in hand. These photos are a product of this time.
Those moments changed how I saw everything.
Simple, calm honest a little reset every single day. These images come from that time.
