Day 4

4th May

A morning of technical challenges and experiments. Work up to at 1:30 am then 2:20 am then again with the alarm 🚨 at 4:30. Dazed, I stumble naked into the bathroom 🚽 put my wetsuit on. Oh, a cup of tea no day starts without tea. As the kettle boils I put on my boots and gloves.

I walk out the door when I get to the beach I go to turn on the camera dead battery. In my foggy morning state I forgot to double-check it must have been leaning on a button overnight how odd.

Disappointed and a little bit frustrated, but then laugh at myself; who cares. I scurry back to the flat and pop in a new battery.

I went with my nifty fifty at shot at f2 in with the dome port which I can say was not the best choice as there not technically designed to work together but this is all about experimenting no exceptions.

Today I had a companion in the sea don’t worry social distancing was adhered to. There is a group of amazing ladies that swim most days year-round at this beach no wetsuit just right in there. She was so happy a grin from ear to ear. We passed comment on how moody the sky is and how amazing the ocean is. Their dedication to this always strikes me.

What a morning it’s going to be a long day πŸ˜‰
