Day 10

10th May

After a blissful week of sunrises, I was right up for some storm action and that’s one thing Scotland delivers one day your in shorts roasting your tatties (Scottish for potato’s ) the next a full-blown storm. It was really eerie being out this morning hardly anyone around every other morning there was at least a runner or a couple of swimmers. The only Constant each morning is the local police car doing its rounds.

As I swam around I was thinking about the likeness of the harbour and our minds. The harbour for me is like the Shields you put up to protect yourself from other peoples emotions thoughts and criticisms. A harbour has to be built and built by yourself gathering tools and materials for what works best for you. Possibly this is a bit abstract but I guess what I’m trying to say iv been learning how to build my own harbour and know what to let in and what to let out and to know there is always an exit there is always blue sky above the clouds. The tides keep turning the sun keeps rising.

Such a contrast from yesterday where I was just swimming about humming to my self and drifting away whereas today it’s was thought-provoking. This routine is so much fun I don’t know if in fact, I have ever had so much fun with a camera in my hand I mean I’ve had fun but this is just so fun I like having fun have fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun.
